Prof. Costas D. Vournas

Costas D. Vournas, IEEE Fellow, received the Diploma of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Athens, Greece, in 1975, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada, in 1978, and the Doctor of Engineering degree from NTUA in 1986. He is currently a Professor in the Electrical Energy Systems Laboratory, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NTUA. His research interests include voltage stability and security analysis, as well as power system control.
